All that made DRONE TEKNOLOJİ A.Ş. team (Drone Show Community member from Turkey) realize that drone shows could be an available alternative to traditional resort animation.

Compared to traditional performances in amphitheatres, which continue for 45 min minimum, drone shows performed by DRONE TEKNOLOJİ are limited to 10 minutes, but then they could be repeated a few times a day. For example, for the hotel Club Tuana, they fly drones two times a day: an early show for children (usually, programs for children start by 20:30 and finish by 21:15) and a late-night show for adult guests coupled with a traditional disco (starts around 23:00).

Live music and light effects perfectly complement drone light shows. For that reason, the team has integrated the drone lights with the dot2 and MA professional light consoles (Art-Net + DMX), the two very popular among resorts and concerts to control all lasers and stage lights, live during flight.

DRONE TEKNOLOJİ A.Ş. surveyed a number of Turkish resorts in Fethiye, Antalya, Alanya and Bodrum regions to discover that most of them prefer weekly shows with a moderate budget not exceeding 1’500-2’000 Euro per show. With the peak season for tourism starting in June and lasting till the end of September, that makes up from 10 to 15 drone shows per season. “When you consider the team that works for this show, it can only make a profit if at the same time there are multiple agreements with hotels doing the show in the same time period”, comments Yurdal Sert at DRONE TEKNOLOJİ A.Ş.

DRONE TEKNOLOJİ team hopes that the season 2022 will be more friendly toward the tourism sector. “We plan to start marketing by autumn for all resorts that wish to order drone shows for summer 2022. We believe that the best roadmap for our company is to fly many small shows with a fleet of 50 drones, and launch bigger ones on special national days”, adds Yurdal Sert.

To be able to serve resorts and hotels in other parts of Turkey, for 2022 DRONE TEKNOLOJİ plans to grow five more teams, each consisting of 4-5 people including pilots. In the winter season 2021-2022, the company plans to focus on training its personnel on the basis of its proprietary training centre located in Fethiye Mugla. The training centre of DRONE TEKNOLOJİ also welcomes young companies using Drone Shows Software as a core technology for managing drone light shows to pass their training on their premises.
