SkyShow.bg completes drone show software certification training, expanding capabilities in Bulgaria and the Balkans with pyro-drone innovation
SkyShow.bg, a growing drone show provider from Bulgaria, has successfully completed their Drone Show Software certification training — marking an important milestone as they continue to expand their technical capabilities and creative potential in aerial entertainment.
The training was delivered by SPH Engineering’s Drone Show Technologies team and offered a full overview of the software — from show design and animation to execution. As part of the training, trainers strongly emphasized safety procedures, built-in tools, and best practices to ensure responsible, regulation-compliant show execution. It helped the Sky Show team strengthen their workflow and build a deeper understanding of the tools and processes needed to deliver safe, professional-grade drone shows.
“The training really brought our team together. It gave us clarity on every step — from the initial concept to live execution — and boosted our confidence to take on more complex projects,” said Dimitar Yanchev, Head of Drone Operations in SkyShow.bg
Now certified, Sky Show plans to expand its drone fleet and become the first company in Bulgaria to specialize in pyro-drone shows, combining light, movement, and pyrotechnics to create unforgettable experiences.
Drone Show Software certification training is a practical, three-day course available online, on-site, or in hybrid format. Led by experienced instructors, engineers, and designers, it has already trained over 450 professionals worldwide. Each participant receives an official certificate upon completion — a key document when applying for flight permits with aviation authorities. The program meets international safety and regulatory standards and is designed to help drone show teams comply with legal and operational requirements and obtain necessary flight permissions from local authorities.
